One of Lauretta and Sarena's sisters came along and took pictures all day long, for which we are very grateful! Here are just a few of those pictures, with no rhyme or reason to where they are placed and where they were taken. It was such a great weekend!
Thaddaeus, Sarena, Lauretta and I, shooting from the sitting position:
He did some spying too. :)
Some of us got terrific sunburns the first day, so resorted to wearing caps the 2nd day, as it was even a brighter, more sunny day than the first!
Jacob is shooting here, with Thaddaeus loading either a shell or putting the mag. in empty, to see if Jacob would do any flinching or anything. We all paired up in teams of two and did this "exercise".
Waiting for the next command....
"Shooters, you may proceed down range to retrieve and post another target..."
Thaddaeus (way on the left) and Sarena (in the yellow blouse) both made "Rifleman". Hooray!
Checking our targets...Checking our red-coat results...
Hmmmm....
Our shooting line Sunday morning... Everyone's looking pretty at home on the range! We praise God that He once again kept everybody safe.
Even shoot bosses need to have some fun! (left to right is Kyle's friend, Will; then Shoot boss Kyle; next is another of Kyle's friends, TJ; then Shoot Boss Alex.)
Our good-sized range...
Time for some history...in the shade! (That's Alex teaching the lesson.)
It was such a great time of learning and getting to know each other better. The volleyball in the evenings (and the campfire) were great fun too!!!!! I'm looking forward to October now, even with sore elbows...
Today was another busy day with the guys unloading the semi (cleaning the grain right away, I believe). Mother hauled the Spiffy-biffy back to Bismarck and saw clients there, plus bought me some cake supplies that I'll need this weekend. I was in charge of caring for 7 (after school, it was 9) children at Helen's Daycare for 9+ hours.
I'm ready for sleeping in a bit in the morning!

My goodness you've been quite busy my dear! :D But it looks like you've been enjoying yourself. :) I admit, I'm half terrified of what I might accidentally do with a gun in my hands...so I keep a safe distance. ;D Hehe.
I pray you were able to get a good night's rest with all this busyness you will need it! {extra Hugs for extra strength!} Oh, will you be sharing some of the pictures of the cakes you will be making? :)
Love you bunches!
~Rachel~
Dear Rachel,
You'd do just fine with a gun in your hands once you learned how to use it, I'm sure! :)
Yes, I will share cake pictures... I'm looking for good ideas currently. Hmmmmmmm...
Thank you so much for the extra hugs and prayers. I pray that you are doing better with your hands/wrists and all these days.
Love you lots and lots,
Cora
