At long last, my dad's semi was fixed (it's been over 3 weeks, I believe) and he went up to get it----along with Mother and Jacob, who did some shopping while in town before driving the van back home.
That left Andrew and I to tidy up the house and to separate the cream, which we got done in good time, and then we pursued our own interests: Andrew working on his computer and myself working on the baby afghan I decided to finish crocheting (I'd found it recently, tucked away in a drawer, where I'd left it 2 years ago.)
When Mom and Jacob returned from town with the cottage cheese I'd requested, we assembled two pans of lasagna. As Mom and I were making the layers, I remembered the time, not so long ago, when Dorena, Miranda and I were assembling lasagna in SD. :) I had asked Dorena if she puts cottage cheese in her lasagna too? She replied in the positive and then I ventured further with, "And do you mix an egg in with the cottage cheese as well?", to which she smiled and said that, "Yes", she did! At this point, Miranda looked at us both oddly and asked why we do such a thing? Neither of us knew.... Perhaps it's because that's how our mothers do it? :)
It is snowing again here. The wind is very cold and is blowing in through the window above my bed, so I think I shall keep my 4 fish company tonight and sleep in the living room on the couch. It obviously is time to dig out the plastic window coverings again....
Well, here's wishes for a restful day tomorrow. ~
May God be with you all.

We need to get out the plastic, too!
Dad saw Bob driving his truck home while we were on our way to Bismarck. We went to the opening of Voyage of the Dawn Treader. It was wonderful.
Have you guys read that C.S. Lewis series? (The Chronicles of Narnia)
Yes, 'tis the season for plastic. :)
No, we have never read the Narnia series. I started once, but never really got into it...
Have a great week,
Cora
