It was a good day. We accomplished some paperwork that needed doing; Dad and Andrew went to Bismarck as they had a long list of things to do; I worked in town; Mother had 2 new clients come to the farm; I talked to Grandma and got her cake order for Sunday; and it was lovely outside. It is now feeling very much like rain again though....

I realized tonight that I hadn't drawn names yet for the winners of my "1,000th post" giveaway. I will put the names in a hat tomorrow and have one of my brothers draw for me. :)

Remember, God is near. What a wonderful thought!

We watched "Bells of St. Mary's" last night and I thought this song was so cute! After all, aren't you glad you're you?

We had a peaceful, restful day.

This is one of the hymns Mom played on the piano and that we sang this afternoon as a family. We are blessed to have had Mom teach us to sing parts (and Dad has sung in choirs before too), so, even though we don't sound as grand as this choir, we do hear the harmony of notes blending together as we sing to the Lord above....

Be blessed as you go where He wants you to go!

"The 50 States that Rhyme..."

Andrew helped me get this video loaded onto You-Tube today and I'm so happy to be able to share it with you finally. I'm only sad that I didn't think to start taping it right when the song started, so missed the "When I was small I studied US geography. The teacher said, 'Will you stand up and list the states for me?'" This song was my favorite, or at least, pretty close to favorite part of the graduation program. Jacob and I heard this song over and over in the barn while Andrew was practicing, so now we can sing along with him, although not quite as fast!
