Flat.

Jacob answered the phone this morning when it rang. It was Mother. Sadly, the Pacifica had a flat tire, but thankfully, she was just 5 miles from Steele where she was meeting up with another lady to travel the rest of the way to class with her, and PTL, that lady was willing and able to pick Mom up there and they weren't too late to class consequently. The boys and I went up (after chores were done) to put the spare tire on the poor vehicle. I then drove the Pacifica to Steele, where we left it in a parking lot for Mom to use on her return journey home.

When we got back to our place, the mailman had brought a package in and left it in the entryway for us. Inside were the spices and vanilla beans I'd ordered from Penzeys' Spices----a company that Sarah K. highly recommended to me when she told me how to make my own vanilla. Included with the order was a nice catalog, full of tasty looking recipes! There was also a cute bumper sticker that read: "Love people. Cook them tasty food." :)

I'm going babysitting tomorrow and am excited about it, as I haven't seen my little friends in quite some time. I can hardly wait to wake up in the morning! :)

Good night my dear friends. May the Lord bless and guide you all through the new week!

Okay, you'll have to share how to make your own vanilla. Sounds interesting.

Hey Cora, :)

I pray you will have a wonderful day today. Babies are such a blessing.

So sorry about your mom's flat tire. But thank the Lord it wasn't too far away, and you could all go and fix it... and she could get to class on time also.

Blessings
