This morning, shortly before noon, an elderly gentleman came to buy some computer disc from Andrew. Well, he ended up being a very talkative, jolly fellow and he must have been here at least an hour, discussing everything from computers, to health, to religion, to politics, to the best jokes, to............... It was fun and we found we had several things in common.
We ate a quick, belated lunch (we'd asked the gentleman to join us, but he had to be on his way) and then Dad headed over to a neighbors' farm to load up a load of wheat (I think that's what it was). The boys worked on projects; Mom rested a while (she was suffering from a lack of sleep from the convention!); I cleaned in my room for a while and did some necessary paper-work.
Yes, it was a good day.
