What wonderful weather!

Today was sunny and warm--in other words, it was just a perfect day to be outside. You can read on Andrew's blog (Man of Courage) about the adventures the guys had, so I won't post about that but will let you get a glimpse of the ladies' side of things (the out-of-the-usual things anyway)...

Mother's laminator came via UPS yesterday, so we had fun trying that out on some papers for Mom's business this morning...

Mom had 4 clients here at home, so that occupied great parts of her afternoon and evening...

While mother was helping people with their health, I was organizing the maps and papers I've printed for Dad and Mom's trip. Once that was somewhat done, I headed out of doors to see what the guys were up to and then went and picked several of our pumpkins, Patty-Pan squash, and my Guatemalan Blue Banana Squash .

For supper, I fried up a fry-sausage; baked some bread sticks; cut a carrot from the garden; mulled some apple cider; and I tried a new recipe for a zucchini-carrot-spice cake, with cream cheese frosting on top. Delicious!

And those were the highlights of our day...

God be with you 'til we meet again, tomorrow evening,
~Cora

So glad you were able to spend the day at home. It sounds very productive and fun. Your supper is making me hungry. It would be my kind of breakfast!

We're having beautiful weather too. Nice spring and a nice fall! Your mom will love her laminator! I have one and find reasons to use it all the time.
