Day #28!

Please pray for us tomorrow as we will be working our calves.... My dad's cousin, Jerome will be coming to help, so that's a blessing for which to be thankful for!

Speaking of cattle, I was so glad to be able to make my cattle-loan payment today!!! Now I just need to be able to make my operating loan payment in Feb. and I'll be good for another year (the sale of this years' calves should easily be able to cover that, Lord willing and all, of course)....

I worked in town again this afternoon/evening and was glad to meet our new CNA, as a couple of my coworkers have quit in the last couple months and we need the help! She said she knew where I lived and every time she drives by our place, she wants to stop and swing on our huge swingset. :) I said she was more than welcome to do so!

Well, I'd best get some sleep now as tomorrow will be a very busy day, I'm sure.

Blessings to you all~

Cora

Hey Cora, I pray the working went well... I'm sure it can be very difficult.
We only have had a couple calves at a time in the past... but I know how hard it can be.

Animals know how to give us a hard time. ;)

Pray you got enough sleep too.

Yours Carra

PS. It's been cold here... 39 degrees at 4 pm... that cold for us southerners, but I'm sure it isn't so bad for you all. ;) Hope the Lord has blessed your weather, and your winter will be mild.

Thank you for praying, Carra! The cattle working did go considerably well this time, as you'll see after reading my latest post. :) Yes, animals can be quite clever at how best not to behave sometimes... God did give them a mind of their own! Thankfully, He also put a natural fear/respect for mankind also, or we would be in HUGE trouble. :)
It was pretty nice out here today, and got up to about 35F degrees, I would guess. It really is lovely this year, compared to all the snow we had last year at this time... I too hope for a mild Winter, for all of us!
May you be truly blessed as you go about your work this week.
With lots of love,
Cora
