Well, my mom just talked to Grandpa on the phone and he's still in a lot of pain, but was able to sleep on the way to Sioux Falls from Aberdeen. He has an IV in now and the doctor will be performing the surgery tomorrow. They said that, if he had waited 'till Monday to come in, he probably wouldn't make it. So, we'd still appreciate prayer--for everything to go well tomorrow and for Grandpa to be able to sleep tonight.
On a totally different note, Jacob asked me today why I don't post videos very often anymore... I said that I've just been too busy to look for good ones, but then I remembered that I haven't posted any of my former-music teacher, Lane's music yet! So, I'm adding one of his movies here. I was very privileged to have such a fine teacher out here in the "Wilderness" and I learned much in the year that I was with him. I could have learned SO much more, I'm sure, and I would have continued on with my lessons, except then the gas prices sky-rocketed and it wasn't very feasible anymore to drive the 60 miles one way just for lessons. Now that gas prices have come down some, life has gotten busier and I am just glad to squeeze in some time to sit down and play a song or two every once in a while! Anyway, I hope you enjoy this movie of my teacher... I wish there was a video of his wife, Sarah singing too, but unfortunately, there isn't one--yet.
Well, Andrew just got home now from swathing, so we're going to eat our (late!) supper now. Mmmm... Roasted chicken and Cardamom-Raisin-Stuffing! It smells good--even at this time of night.

Thanks for this, Cora. I'm not sure how I missed this one, since I have your blog on my blog reader! :-)
