Bad roads!

This is the second post titled "Bad roads", I know, but it's the truth--the roads were bad coming home tonight! My dad waited up for me, which is always so nice. :)

We worked a bit short tonight, due to the fact that one of the CNAs started having labor pains around supper time! She and her mother took off for a hospital, and I've been praying for them ever since, as this young woman wasn't expecting the baby to make its arrival for at least another month....

And now I have a rather strange question for you all. Does anybody know what to do for a dog who apparently has something wrong with her ears? I gave Lady a bath yesterday and was careful not to get soap or water into her ears, but am thinking maybe some made it past me anyway and perhaps that is bothering her? She has been shaking her head back and forth all day, off and on. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

And now, I'm off to dreamland. ~

Cora,
Try putting rubbing alchohol on a cotton ball and gently cleaning out your dogs ears with it. I do this all the time with my yellow lab and it really works. It may just be a bit of water that got in ears and the alchohol will help to absorb the moisture.

Thank you for the suggestion, "Anonymous." I will give it a try, as my Lady still is shaking her head occasionally...

Hi Cora,
Can you let us know if you gave this a try and how you feel it works.
