...But as we need to get up pretty early in the morning so as to get our chores done; get cleaned up and loaded up and make it to the Dagley's by 10:00, I'll make this very brief!
Many exciting things happened today: Andrew got our new (used) big-square baler home this afternoon; Dad and Jacob went to Aberdeen and got the new (used) motor for the 1086; Mom and I did a lot of food preparation and house cleaning; the insurance man came (we like him--that's why that was good); and our favorite mechanic, Toby came up after his work was through in Kintyre and refilled the air-conditioners' fluid in a couple of the tractors. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that we found our blind cow (that someone gave us as a calf to raise 3 years ago) with her first calf this morning. She's taking really good care of it, so we're pleased! This has been a great day and now we just have to sleep before the long-awaited Prairie Day at the Dagleys...
