Future apple pies...

Besides cleaning the house today, Mom and I cut up apples for 16 future pies; mixed the spices, sugar and flour together and froze this mixture.  I also made 1 pie for our supper this evening.  We also cut up more apples for a triple-batch of apple-pectin, which I boiled down and put in the fridge to use later.  The guys worked on hay again and, when Dad broke down, he came back to the farm to fix the problem, and then he and I went out and hauled 2 loads of hay into the hay-yard and my dad stacked the hay right away too.   It was a good, busy day.
