Our smart puppy~

If it was cold and snowy almost everywhere you looked, but you didn't want to go in the barn to avoid the white fluffy stuff, (as you like people so well,) where would you park yourself for a rest?

Well, our dog, Millie found one of the plastic chairs on our deck to be an excellent place to stay dry!

Friday is always our house-cleaning day, so we were busy with that, amongst other things... I made some home-made crackers and a couple of cheese-balls for a treat. Delicious!
As I'm sitting here, I'm especially thanking the Lord that we have our crops off already, as I can hear the humming of some combines up the road--the farmers working long hours (in the snow) to get their harvest in...
How cozy warm it is in our little house tonight! We are so blessed~

Awe! That reminds me of our dog! He one time sat on out tractor seat to get out of the snow! At least I think he was doing that, he may have been trying to pretend he was driving it! :)
Oh yummy! I like homemade crackers! (and cheese balls!)
Well, I am off to get ready for market! Bye!

Your crackers and cheese ball look delicious. Would you share the recipe for them?

Thanks!

Kimberly

P.S. We had a great Sabbath, too. So nice to enjoy that rest each week.

Hello Cora Beth!
Thank you so much for the lovely comments you left on my blog and also for tagging me! It was very kind of you :)
What a funny picture of your dog! Our dog Milly also likes to sit on the chairs that we have on our back veranda! :) What kind of dog is your Millie? Ours is a German Shepherd and she looks quite similar to yours... so I wondered if she has any German Shepherd in her? She is very cute!
Thank you again for the lovely comments, I hope you are having a delightful day!
With love,
~Laura

Dear Laura~
Thanks for writing!!! You brought a smile to my face. :)

Our Millie is half German Shepherd and half Red Heeler. She's a year and a half old now, but she still acts like a puppy and never runs out of energy! She's learned some manners now and I have hopes of her turning into a really nice dog when she gets older... :)

Thank you again for commenting here.

Blessings on your day! Mine is ended and I'm about to crawl into bed. Ahhhh.... The comfort of a soft feather pillow is indescribable!
