A productive day...

I have so many things to catch up on on-line that I think I'll make this a very short post this time and work on other things...

The guys were busy working on Andrew's grain cleaner all day. Dad's also watching a generator on e-bay that the bidding ends on tomorrow, so we're wondering if this is "The one" or not...

Mom & I worked on catching up on laundry today and we started the kombucha tea once again.

This afternoon, I went over to our neighbors' house for about 3 hours to watch the children so the mother could get some of her typing/work done. Now that the twins are up and running about, it's a little more challenging for her to do her medical transcriptionist work and care for the children at the same time, so she's asked me to come help whenever I have time. :)

I was very delighted to receive a package in the mail today from my dear friend, Rachel!!!! (Thank you SOOOOO much, sweet Rachel! It's just PERFECT!) I plan to take pictures of the lovely gifts I received one of these days--perhaps when I have fish swimming around in my fish tank on Wednesday (Lord willing)!

~Thank you again to all of you who played a part in making my birthday this year so very happy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other than all that, we just lived... It's a wonderful life!

Sounds like you had a very enjoyable, busy day. I love that kind! I don't mind any work, as long as, at the end of the day, I feel like I've ACCOMPLISHED something! :D Sometimes I feel like I've run ragged all day long doing work that needed to be done, and then at the end of the day, there doesn't seem to be anything to show for all my labor! Ah, well, such are the lessons of patience :)

Blessings my friend! I can't wait to see pictures of your birthday goodies ;)

Sounds like a productive day to me =D!
How often do you make kombucha?
it must be fun to always babysit those sweet little children! It is such a blessing to babysit my nephews. We did today and are going to again on Wednesday (a week from tomorrow). My sister is getting work done on her teeth, that is why Grace and I are babysitting so often, I'm glad though!
Oh! Can't wait to see all your birthday gifts!

Yes, it is a wonderful life. Despite all the trials we do go through, it still is wonderful because we serve a wonderful King!! Praise Him!

Love you!
Your sis in Christ,
Hannah <3

Dear Kyrie~
It is indeed nice to do work that you can see the rewards of for a while... Tonight Mom and I gave our menfolk haircuts and that's one job that is definitely noticeable once accomplished! :)

Patience is indeed a virtue. If only it wasn't so time consuming to learn to be patient! :)

I'll do my best to get some pictures taken tomorrow and post them tomorrow night, although it sounds like it'll be a busy day......

Hannah dear~
We make a new batch of kombucha anywhere from 8 to 12 days after starting it. We've let it go longer when we were really busy, but then the kombucha starts to taste like vinegar, so we prefer to do it before it gets so potent! :)

Our God is an awesome God--He reigns...!

Love you lots~ (Please give Grace a hug for me. :) )
