Prairie Day planning.......

As I wrote last night, Mrs. Dagley and her sons, Ben & Michael came to visit us. :) They arrived around 2:00 in the afternoon and we had a nice, long hymn sing time together and then our guys taught the Dagley guys how to play some of our favorite games (Rage and the Monopoly card game). I played with them some of the time and shared Prairie Day ideas with Mrs. Dagley the rest of the time...

Mother needed to rest, but when she got up again, Mrs. Dagley and she talked about, thought of and planned for Prairie Day demonstrations, etc...
While supper was cooking the rest of the way, the menfolk headed downstairs for some Foosball fun...

The Dagleys spent the night (which meant that I got to have a midnight talk with Mrs. Dagley, as she stayed with me in my room!)
This morning, we looked into getting some business-sized Prairie Day cards (and some post cards) printed up so that we can hand them out to people wherever we go--especially at the home school convention that's in March. Here Jacob's showing Mrs. D the many different designs that there were to choose from...

Andrew & Michael had a few minutes to play music together while the pancakes (for lunch) were being made. Here's Michael with his guitar and I later heard him playing harmonica at the same time, but didn't get a picture of that...
Andrew with his banjo...
Our friends left right after the noon meal, as Michael had to get home to tag some heifers he bought and to move them to another spot on the farm.
There's oh so much more I could write about--of how we appreciated the Dagley young men's help in the barn (especially with strawing down the calves); about how we're enjoying the cute snowman soap-dispenser Mrs. Dagley gave to us; about how we always enjoy our fellowship with the Dagleys and how grateful we are that God had us meet so many years ago; and about how much I'd like for everyone who's reading this to be able to meet us at the Dagleys' farm on June 18th-20th for Prairie Days, but as it's late once again, I'd best get to bed. :)
~Sweet dreams~
