Did you ever realize that...

...when you have a blog, you take a lot more pictures than you did in previous times? My family & I just got done looking through all the photos from this year--trying to decide which ones to use in our annual family letter update. We picked out a LOT of pictures, so I'm sure we'll have to narrow them down a good deal!

We had guests again today... Sarah K. (and her 3 children) came to get some farm products this morning and, as we don't see them very often, we got into a nice long visit and then invited them to stay for lunch so we could continue talking. :)

Ila, James & Edmund had fun with our little-people toys in the living room...

My mom first met Sarah about 5 years ago, while at the local farmers' market. They really enjoyed each other and then we found out that Sarah's husband taught piano, so I took lessons from him for a little over a year. It was a long ways to drive though (60 miles one way), so when gas prices sky-rocketed, it got too expensive to take lessons and I stopped.

Still, we've come to really enjoy the K. family and we get together once in a while for some fun times! (As a side note, they're the ones who taught us how to play Settlers of Catan--and the expansions...) :)

Here's Sarah with her little ones...

And here's the other side of the table (I was taking pictures today and, consequently, am not on this one...)

Before I go, I'd like to leave you with another quote from my calendar (can you tell I enjoy my calendar greatly?)

"I wish you peace----in the world in which you live and in the smallest corner of the heart where truth is kept."
~Robert A. Ward

Yes, I have noticed that I take ALOT more pics now that I have been blogging... sometimes I'll be taking a picture, and one of my brothers will say "why do you want to take a picture of that?"
Glad you had a nice visit! ~Hannah

I agree! My sister and I have always enjoyed taking photographs but are definitely taking more since we started blogging. And sometimes taking pictures of things we wouldn't have thought of taking before, but now everything becomes a possible post, needing the photos to go with it! :)
